Milky Way Panorama

Two vertical panoramas composed of 10 and 13 images respectively. Taken with my 'nifty-fifty' 50mm f/1.8 on my EOS 80D.

2017

A vertical panorama of the Milky Way taken July 26th with my 50mm f/1.8. It's a ten-image composite with each being a 15 second exposure at ISO-4000 at f/1.8. Edited in Adobe Lightroom and composed in Microsoft Image Composite Editor. Uncompressed, this image equates to around 190 megapixels, and is 300MB in size.

This one here is my first attempt, whilst the latter was my second. Decided to take another as in this one, the Milky Way is on an angle. ISO-4000, 15 second exposure at f/1.8 with these photographs too. Total of 13 images edited in Adobe Lightroom and composed with Microsoft Image Composite Editor.

Tullamarine Airport with EOS 80D
After purchasing a Canon EOS 80D (upgrading from the EOS 1300D/Rebel T6), I decided to put the camera to the test in an unfamiliar environment at Tullamarine International Airport in Melbourne, Australia. All images in this project were taken through my 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM II and were adjusted in Adobe Lightroom.

The Milky Way | Early 2017
A collection showcasing the striking beauty of the vast galaxy we live in, the Milky Way. All taken in early-to-mid 2017 on my EOS1300D with either my 50mm f/1.8, 10-18mm f/4-5.6 or kit 18-55mm f/3.5-4.5 and adjusted in Photoshop CC and Lightroom.

Images in this album are very 'noisy' due to use of fairly slow lenses in addition to inadequate editing techniques as these images were taken some time ago.

Tyabb Airshow 2020
In March of 2020, the Pensinsula Aero Club of Tyabb Airport (YTYA) hosted the Tyabb 2020 Airshow. The airshow featured the main attractions of the F4U-5N Corsair VH-III and CAC-18 Mustang VH-SVU in addition to other main acts including the RAAF Roulettes, Paul Bennett Sky Aces and RAAF Point Cook Trainer Flight.

Temora Aviation Museum
Various images from my trip to the Temora Aviation Museum in Temora, NSW in July 2017. Photographs shown here were taken with my 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS STM II, which performed flawlessly for it's first trial since I purchased it. Shot on my Canon EOS 1300D.
